Emirates Flight Catering (EKFC) cooks the in-flight meals for Emirates and more than 100 other airlines from its kitchens in Dubai. For Emirates Flight Catering careers, the official page is emiratesflightcatering.com/careers. Its “See Vacancies” button opens the company’s own online job portal. Applying is free.
What is Emirates Flight Catering?
EKFC is an airline catering company in Dubai. Its About page says it is “90% owned by Emirates, with the remaining shares held by Dubai Airports Corporation”. The Emirates media centre links to the same website, so it is the real company site.
The company has three main parts:
- Airline and airport catering: meals for flights and airport lounges. EKFC says its main Dubai complex, opened in 2007, is “the largest facility of its kind in the world”.
- Foodcraft: a food factory called Food Point in Dubai Investment Park. It makes food for airlines and for hotels, restaurants and shops across the GCC.
- Linencraft: a laundry business, also in Dubai Investment Park. It washes linen for airlines, hotels and hospitals, with four plants running 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
The company’s fact sheet from March 2023 lists 10,000+ employees, 1,400+ chefs and an average of 220,000 meals a day. These numbers are from 2023 and may have changed. The About page says staff come from 69 nations.
EKFC is close to the Emirates airline, but it uses its own job portal. For cabin crew, pilot and airport jobs, see our Emirates careers guide.
How do I apply for Emirates Flight Catering careers?
- Go to emiratesflightcatering.com and click Careers.
- Click See Vacancies. This opens the EKFC job portal (an Oracle candidate site). The same link is in the website footer under “Careers”.
- Search the open jobs, choose one that matches your experience and press apply.
- Create your profile and upload an up-to-date CV in English.
The careers page does not give a recruitment email address or WhatsApp number. The contact page lists a general phone line (+971 4 2823171) and an online form, but no special number for jobs. So the portal is the safe way to apply.
The site does not mention overseas recruitment drives, so do not trust anyone who claims to run one “for EKFC” without proof on the official site.
What jobs does Emirates Flight Catering hire for?
The careers page says the company hires in “culinary excellence, food production, F&B service, engineering, and logistics, plus all of our corporate divisions”. Support teams include “human resources, safety, food hygiene, quality, finance, IT, supply chain and sourcing”.
Because of the type of work, EKFC often has roles like these:
- Kitchen: chefs at different levels, cooks and food production staff
- Food safety: hygiene and quality staff
- Logistics: staff who move meal carts and load aircraft (the fact sheet mentions 295+ hi-loader trucks)
- Engineering: technicians who keep machines and buildings running
- Laundry and food factory: jobs at Linencraft and Foodcraft
- Office: HR, finance, IT and purchasing
When we checked the portal on 25 October 2026, it listed 29 jobs in Dubai, including Commis III, Chef de Partie, Sous Chef, Light Duty Driver and food technology roles. Vacancies change all the time, so check the portal for what is open today. The careers page also says the company runs an Emiratisation programme and wants more UAE Nationals to join.
Does Emirates Flight Catering hold walk-in interviews?
We did not find any official EKFC walk-in interview on the company website when we checked in October 2026. The careers page only talks about applying online. If you see a “walk-in” poster with the EKFC name, look for the same job on the official portal first.
For real walk-ins at other UAE companies, see our walk-in interview jobs page.
How much salary does Emirates Flight Catering pay?
EKFC does not publish salaries on its website. Pay depends on the job, your experience and the contract. The careers page mentions training in food safety and “a range of learning and development opportunities”, but it does not list benefits like housing or transport.
The only salary you can trust is the one written in your official offer letter and MOHRE contract. Read our guide on how to read a UAE job offer letter before you sign.
Is an Emirates Flight Catering job offer on WhatsApp real?
Be careful. EKFC’s own careers page warns that people not connected to the company have pretended to offer jobs in its name. It says these contacts “may request personal information or payments to process applications”. The company says it never asks for bank or credit card details during the job application process, and tells you to apply only through its official website.
Warning signs:
- Someone asks for money for a visa, medical, “file processing” or a ticket.
- The offer comes on WhatsApp or from a Gmail or Yahoo address.
- You got an offer without any interview, or the job is not on the official portal.
