Emirates is the Dubai airline that belongs to The Emirates Group. For Emirates careers, the official place to look is emiratesgroupcareers.com, the site that the Careers link on emirates.com opens. Applying is free. Emirates says it will never ask job seekers for money.
What is the Emirates Group?
Emirates is the airline. Its website says it connects the world “to, and through, our global hub in Dubai”. The group careers site also lists jobs with:
- dnata – airport services such as check-in, baggage and boarding at Terminal 1 or 2
- Emirates Airport Services – check-in, baggage and boarding at Terminal 3
- marhaba – meet-and-assist services for VIPs, children travelling alone and passengers with special needs
Where is the official Emirates careers site?
- Open emirates.com and click Careers. It takes you to emiratesgroupcareers.com.
- Pick a career area: Cabin Crew, Pilots, Engineering, Customer Services, Airline & Airport Operations, Information Technology, Commercial, Corporate or UAE Nationals.
- Click View all vacancies to see every open job.
- Press Apply, create a candidate profile and upload your CV. If nothing fits, join the talent community.
If you fail an assessment, the help page says you can apply for the same role again after 6 months.
How do I become Emirates cabin crew?
The official cabin crew page lists these requirements, in Emirates’ own words:
- “At least 21 years old”
- “At least 160cm tall and able to reach 212cm high”
- “A minimum of high school (Grade 12) education”
- “At least 1 year of hospitality or customer service experience”
- “Fluent in written and spoken English (additional languages are an advantage)”
- “No visible tattoos while in Emirates cabin crew uniform”
- “Able to meet the UAE’s employment visa requirements”
The page does not mention a swimming test.
Open days and invite-only events
- Open Days work like walk-in interviews. The site says you can “walk into any of our Open Days”. Arrive on time.
- Invite-only events need an online application first. Only selected candidates get an invite.
When we checked on 24 October 2026, Open Days were mostly in Europe, Australia, the USA and Canada. Events in Bangalore, Kolkata, Colombo, Dhaka, Cairo and Johannesburg were invite-only, and Dubai was listed as “Recruiting now” (apply online). We saw nothing for Pakistan, the Philippines, Nepal or Nigeria. The list changes often. The FAQ says you can attend an event in another country, and that online assessment days are not offered at the moment.
What happens on the recruitment day?
- Introduction to the job and life in Dubai.
- Assessment: group activities and an online test at the venue.
- Final interview about why you want to join.
Bring a valid ID to get in. Keep these on your phone: an up-to-date CV in English, a copy of your education certificate and your passport copy in PDF. Before joining you fill in a self-declaration medical form. Emirates says any costs for your medical requirements are paid by you. That means your own doctor or dentist, never an “agent”.
For other walk-in interviews in the UAE, see our walk-in interview jobs page.
What other Emirates jobs can I apply for?
The careers site often lists jobs in these areas. Vacancies change, and some areas show “No jobs currently available” at times.
- Customer services: contact centre agents, airport services agents, marhaba service agents
- Airline and airport operations: group security, ground handling, health and safety, cargo and logistics, culinary and flight operations
- Engineering: licensed aircraft engineers, aircraft technicians, maintenance planning and technical services
- Pilots: First Officers and Captains. Invited candidates must bring “complete certified logbook records”, so this is for pilots who already fly. We did not find a cadet programme for beginners on the site.
- Office jobs: IT, commercial and corporate roles
How much does Emirates cabin crew earn?
Emirates publishes approximate cabin crew pay for Grade II (Economy Class). As shown in October 2026:
| Item | Amount (approx.) |
|---|---|
| Basic salary | AED 4,980 per month |
| Flying pay | AED 69.6 per hour (average 80–100 hours a month) |
| Average monthly pay | AED 11,244 (USD 3,061) |
The page also lists shared furnished accommodation, transport to work, 30 calendar days of annual leave and one free annual leave ticket home. For other jobs, no fixed salaries are published. The final number is the one in your offer letter, so read our guide on how to read a UAE job offer letter before you sign.
Is an Emirates job offer on WhatsApp real?
Usually not. Emirates’ recruitment fraud page says the group “will never ask for money transfers or payment of any kind from job applicants”. It also does not ask for advance payment for travel, visas or work permits. Real messages come only from @emirates.com or @dnata.com email addresses. Messages on WhatsApp, from Gmail or Yahoo accounts, or with strange links are likely fake.
