dnata is a Dubai air services company that belongs to The Emirates Group. It does ground handling, cargo, catering and travel. For dnata careers in the UAE, the official place to look is emiratesgroupcareers.com, the same site Emirates uses. Applying is free. The group says it will never ask job seekers for money.

What does dnata do in Dubai?

dnata calls itself “one of the world’s largest air services providers”. It was established in 1959. The Emirates Group lists dnata as one of its brands, next to Emirates, Emirates SkyCargo, marhaba and dnata Travel.

dnata’s UAE page lists this work:

  • Ground handling: dnata is the “sole ground handling agent” at Dubai International Airport (DXB)
  • Cargo: cargo operations at DXB and Dubai World Central (DWC), including an animal shipping facility
  • Catering: it is the sole flight caterer at Sharjah and Ras Al Khaimah airports, through its Alpha Flight Services joint venture with Air Arabia
  • Travel: holidays, business travel and representing airlines in the UAE

The same page says dnata works with more than 140 airline partners in the UAE. In October 2026, dnata said it runs about 2,800 motorised ground equipment units (loaders, tugs and similar vehicles) at DXB and DWC.

Where do I apply for dnata careers?

dnata’s UAE jobs are on the Emirates Group careers site. Its Customer Services page talks about “front-line customer-facing roles with dnata, marhaba and Emirates Airport Services”. Here is how to apply:

  1. Go to emiratesgroupcareers.com. The footer also links to dnata.com, so you know it is the right site.
  2. Pick a career area, for example Customer Services or Airline & Airport Operations.
  3. Open All open positions to see every live job across the group. Check that the job title or details say dnata.
  4. Press Apply, create your candidate profile and upload your CV in English.

dnata.com also has a Careers page with location, category and brand filters. When we checked on 25 October 2026 it showed “No matching result(s)”, so use the Emirates Group site for UAE jobs.

If you are not selected, the help page says you can apply for the same role again after 6 months. We also have a separate guide to Emirates careers and cabin crew open days.

What jobs does dnata usually hire for?

Based on dnata’s business and the group careers site, dnata often hires in these areas. Vacancies change, and some areas show “No Jobs currently available” for weeks.

  • Airport customer service: check-in, boarding and other front-line passenger work
  • Ground handling: aircraft and baggage handling on the ramp, and equipment operation
  • Cargo and logistics: warehouse and freight handling
  • Culinary: kitchen and catering roles
  • Health, safety and security roles
  • Travel and office jobs: roles in dnata Travel, IT and other corporate teams

Each job advert lists its own requirements. Read them carefully before you apply. The site does not publish one fixed list for all dnata jobs.

Does dnata hold walk-in interviews?

We did not find any official dnata walk-in interview on dnata.com or the Emirates Group careers site. As far as we can see, dnata hires through online applications. Many “dnata walk-in” posts online come from job blogs, not from dnata itself. If you see one, look for the same job on the official site before you travel anywhere.

For real walk-in interviews with other UAE companies, see our walk-in interview jobs page.

How much salary does dnata pay?

dnata does not publish fixed salaries for its UAE jobs. Pay depends on the role, grade and your experience. Be careful with salary numbers you see on social media.

The group careers site lists these general benefits:

  • A tax-free salary
  • Accommodation or a housing allowance, “depending on role and location”
  • “A minimum of 30 leave days every year”
  • Travel discounts with Emirates and partner airlines

Your real salary is the one written in your offer letter and MOHRE contract. Read our guide on how to read a UAE job offer letter before you sign.

How can I spot a fake dnata job offer?

Big names like dnata and Emirates are often used by scammers. The group’s recruitment fraud page says it “will never ask for money transfers or payment of any kind from job applicants”. It will also never ask for advance payment for travel, visas or work permits.

  • Never send money, cash or your bank card details to get a “dnata job”.
  • Be careful with offers on WhatsApp or from Gmail and Yahoo addresses.
  • Do not trust an offer if you never applied or had no interview.
  • Check the job exists on emiratesgroupcareers.com.
