The NAFFCO advert does not set a minimum number of years of experience, so freshers are not ruled out. It does, however, prefer experience in roofing, cladding, waterproofing or aluminium finishing work.
You will work with TIG and ARC welding on aluminium roof sheets and other roofing components in Dubai. The work includes outdoor construction, installation support and safe working at heights.
The welding and roofing work
- Perform TIG welding on aluminium roof sheets, flashings, gutters, trims and related accessories.
- Carry out ARC welding on GI and other metal components when required.
- Weld aluminium sheets from 0.5 mm to 1.0 mm thick.
- Prepare, repair and inspect welded joints to help prevent leaks.
- Operate TIG/ARC machines, grinders and fabrication tools safely.
- Coordinate with supervisors and installation teams during roofing work.
Check these points before applying
- Check if you have TIG/ARC welding certification, which is preferred in the advert.
- Be ready for outdoor construction work and duties at heights using PPE, fall protection, manlifts or scaffolding.
- Highlight any experience with roofing, cladding, waterproofing or aluminium finishing.
