Lulu is the retail group behind Lulu Hypermarket and Lulu Express stores, with its corporate office in Abu Dhabi. For Lulu careers, the official place to look is the Careers link on luluretail.com, which opens careers.luluretail.com. Applying is free. If anyone asks you to pay for a Lulu job, it is not Lulu.
Who runs Lulu Hypermarket in the UAE?
Lulu’s stores are run by Lulu Retail. If you type the old address, lulugroupinternational.com, it now takes you to luluretail.com. Here is what the company’s own website says:
- It runs Lulu Hypermarkets and Lulu Express stores, plus a wholesale business.
- Its website says it has 252 stores.
- Its corporate office is in Y Tower, Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi.
- It has sourcing offices in many countries, so some jobs are in buying and supply, not only in stores.
So when people say “Lulu Group”, “Lulu Hypermarket” or “Lulu Retail” for UAE jobs, they usually mean this company.
Where is the official Lulu careers page?
Start from the company homepage, not from a link someone sent you on WhatsApp. Then:
- Open luluretail.com and click Careers.
- You will land on careers.luluretail.com. Use “Search by Keyword” (for example “cashier” or “butcher”) and “Search by Location”.
- Open a job and read the location and requirements before you apply.
- The Login button on the careers site takes you to Lulu’s candidate portal, where you create a profile and upload your CV.
- Keep your CV short: name, phone, email, visa status, and your shop or supermarket experience at the top.
The careers site does not show a recruitment email address. If you want to check something, use the phone number on Lulu’s official contact page: +971 2 4182000.
What jobs does Lulu often hire for?
The careers site sorts jobs into these areas:
- Retail jobs (the store teams)
- Supply chain
- Buying
- E-commerce
- Engineering and maintenance
- Safety, quality and hygiene
- Audit, finance and accounts
- Human resources, IT, marketing and communication, legal and compliance
Because Lulu runs big stores, store-level work such as sales staff, cashiers, fresh food counters and warehouse helpers would usually come under “Retail jobs” or “Supply chain”. Vacancies change all the time, and some months a category may be empty. Check the portal again instead of trusting old lists shared in groups.
Does Lulu hold walk-in interviews?
A lot of people, especially from Kerala, search “Lulu walk in interview” or “Lulu hypermarket walk in Dubai”. We checked Lulu’s careers site and contact page and found no walk-in announcement there. Walk-in posts do appear on blogs and social media, but we could not confirm them from an official Lulu source.
That does not mean every walk-in is fake. It means you should be careful:
- Look for the same job on careers.luluretail.com.
- If the notice gives a phone number, compare it with the one on Lulu’s official site.
- No real interview asks for a registration fee.
For walk-ins we have checked from many UAE companies, see our walk-in interview jobs page.
How much salary does Lulu pay?
Lulu does not publish fixed salaries on its careers site. The careers page talks about benefits and training in general words, with no numbers. Pay depends on the job, the store, your experience and your visa situation.
Ignore salary figures from videos and blogs. The number that matters is the one in your offer letter and your MOHRE contract. Check the basic salary, allowances, working hours and contract type before you sign. Our guide on how to read a UAE job offer letter explains each part.
Fake Lulu recruitment: how to stay safe
Lulu is a very well-known name in the Gulf, and scammers like to use famous names. You may see fake “Lulu recruitment” websites, Facebook pages and WhatsApp groups that look very real. Common signs:
- They ask for money for a visa, medical, ticket or “file charge”.
- The offer comes from a Gmail, Yahoo or other free email address.
- They promise a job without any interview.
- The website address is not luluretail.com or careers.luluretail.com.
Never pay to get a job. Read our guide on how to spot fake job offers in the UAE before you reply to any message.
